Mrs.: Martha Thorne

In 1916 Martha Thorne, a Democrat, was elected County Superintendent of Schools for the Huerfano County, Colorado School District. She defeated Republican Dora Unfug. As the incumbent, Thorne won re-election in 1918.
The 1920 U.S. Census lists Thorne as married with four children. The family lived in Walsenburg, Colorado.
