Thomson, Elizabeth L.
Elizabeth L. Thomson, the Republican candidate, was elected County Superintendent of Schools in Deer Lodge County, Montana in 1892. Thomson was re-elected two years later, beating Democrat Emma L. Davis and Peoples party candidate Josie Bond. Thomson ran again in 1896 as a Silver Republican, but lost that race. She ran again 1900, but lost to Mary McLaughlin, a fusion candidate.
