In 1910 Mrs. Ralph E. Grim was a candidate for the tenth ward School Committee in Philadelphia. She ran again the following year as a candidate of the Keystone party and was elected. Grim contributed to local institutions such as the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
