In 1911 Josephine Brazier was a Keystone party candidate for School Visitor for the seventh ward in Philadelphia. Brazier belonged to several reform organizations including the Playground Association, the Indian Rights Association, the Women's Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the National Conference on Charities and Corrections.
