Caroline M. Dodson
In 1895 Caroline M. Dodson was a Prohibition party candidate for School Director of the thirty-second ward in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did not win the race. Dodson was a physician who graduated from the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania. She also trained as a nurse. In 1890 she founded and served as the first president of the National Womans Health Association.
