Keen, Dora
In 1897 Dora Keen, a Republican, was elected as a School Director of the ninth ward School committee in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Keen graduated from Bryn Mawr College and then worked for several reform agencies in the city. She later traveled the world, and in the first decade of the twentieth century became an Alpinist, climbing first-class peaks in Europe.
