Mrs. C. N. Cuthbert campaigned for State Superintendent of Instruction as the Prohibition Party candidate in Kansas, in 1886. She did not win the election.
In 1884 and, perhaps, 1886, Mattie Worcester ran for the office of Graham County, Kansas superintendent of public instruction. She was elected at least once.
