Maud Clark Glasson was a non partison candidate for County Superintendent of Schools for Santa Clara County, California in the primary race in 1918. She came in third in a three-way race. Glasson later publicly endorsed another candidate, Agnes E. Howe, for the general election that year. Glasson was a well known educator in the area as well as serving as the city director of food conservation during World War I. She was a registered Republican.
