Mazie V. Rhodes, a Republican, was elected County Treasurer of Big Horn County, Wyoming in 1918. She won against Democrat Berenice Dodge. Rhodes had been accused of conflict of interest by a rival, due to some of her male relatives being bankers in the county. Rhodes served in the office into the 1920s.
