Leone Rogers, a Republican, was elected as the County Recorder of the Davis County, Utah in 1908.  She resigned in June of 1909, married and moved away. In the 1890s Rogers worked with the Demoratic party, especially the silver Democrats. By 1908 she had changed to working with the local Republicans. Rogers served as the secretary of the Davis County Women's Suffrage Association.
