Allen, Mrs. John B.
Mrs. John B. Allen was a Republican candidate in the 1916 primary for a  U.S. Senate seat from Washington State. She came in fourth in a nine-way race. This was shortly after the Seventeenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution allowed voters to cast direct votes for U.S. senators. Prior to its ratification, senators were chosen by state legislatures.
