Weller, Anna C.

Anna C. Weller was considered as a candidate by both the Democrats and Republicans for the office of County Superintendent of Schools in Pierce County, Washington in 1880. Although nominated by both parties Weller had to decline as she was only twenty years old and not eligible due to her age. Even after she withdrew from the race, Weller received seven write in votes in the election.
