Minnie Ford Decker
Minne Ford Decker, a Republican, was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Mason County, Washington in 1898. She ran as a single woman, under her maiden name of Ford, but married before assuming office. Decker ran for re-election in 1900, but was defeated by her Democratic rival Mary M. Knight.
