Margaret Craig, a Republican, was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Lincoln County, Washington, in 1904. Two years later she was elected to a second term. Craig had long been a school teacher in the area. In 1908 she published a magazine article concerning the development of Lincoln County and its schools system.
