Catherine A. Feeley, the Democratic and Silver Republican candidate, was elected as County Superindent of Schools for Carbon County, Montana in 1898. She ran for re-election as an Indpendent Democrat in 1900, but lost to the Republican candidate, Martha Dilworth.
