Honora MacPherson was the Citizens party candidate for City Superintendent of Schools for Denver, Colorado in 1912. She won her race, with the rest of the Citizens party ticket that year. In 1915 MacPherson was a candidate for the Denver School Board. In the 1890s McPherson had served as the assistant to the County Superintendent. After the courts ruled that Denver county and city offices were redudent, MacPherson became the County Superintendent of Schools.
