Christine Strang
Christine Strang was the Anti-Saloon candidate for City Treasurer of Montrose, Montrose County, Colorado in 1911. In the general election she lost to the Taxpayer candidate, Myrtle Goodrich. Goodrich and Strang had both vied for the Anti-Saloon nomination, but Strang won that vote. Stang was born in England, but immigrated to the US at the age of three, with her parents. Before her nomination Strang was a school teacher in the county.
