Lavinia Murdock [aka Elizabeth L. Murdock] was elected County Treasurer of Wasatch County, Utah in 1904 and again in 1908. She ran as a Republican. Mudock ran for four more terms and served through 1912. She was elected again in 1912 when she is listed as "Lavina." In 1916 Murdock was the Republican party candidate for the office, but lost to her Democratic rival Amelia "Millie" Witt.
