Carolyn Seaton was the Democratic candidate for County Clerk and Recorder in Delta County, Colorado in 1918. She won the race against her Republican opponent by only ten votes. However, ten days after the election Seaton died after a brief illness. In 1915 she was appointed Deputy County Clerk. Seaton was also an accomplished musician.
