Minns, Grace

Grace Minns was a Republican candidate for the Boston School Committee in 1902.  She was also endorsed by the Public School Association and the Independent Women Voters. Minns worked with the U.S. government to haveBooker T. Washington's book, Up From Slavery translated into Spanish . The U.S. government intended the translation for the Afro-Cuban population.
