Ella L. Cabot was a Republican candidate for the Boston School Committee in 1904. She was also endorsed by the Public School Association. In 1910 Cabot wrote a book for parents and teacher titled Ethics for Children. She continued to be involved in education and in 1914 published a text on citizenship for children.
