Vagedes, Mary [aka Lizzie] E.

Mary E. Vagedes (also known as Lizzie Vagedes), was elected as County Superintendent of Schools for Sutter County, California in 1914. She was elected to a second term in 1918 and still serving in the office through the early 1920s.
