Ida Trubschenck was elected as Town Clerk for Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California in 1912. She served in the office until 1956. Trubschenck was elected in every campaign year until 1946, when the office became an appointed one. Before her election to office Trubschenck had worked in a general store.
