Mary B. Post was elected Town Clerk for Georgia, Franklin County, Vermont in 1878. She served in the office until 1887. Her husband had previously served in the office for many years, but Mary was elected in her own right. Some sorces listed Post as both Clerk and Treasurer of Georgia.
