Nellie Bushee was elected Town Treasurer of Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont in 1910. Bushee's father Orlando served as the Town Clerk. By 1913 Nellie Bushee had been elected to a combined office of Clerk and Treasurer. Nellie Bushee was a photographer who took over 250 glass negatives of people of her town, their homes and businesses, between 1895 and 1910.
