Bellows, Ida I.

Ida I. Bellows was a candidate for Los Angeles School Board in the primary election in 1915.  Eight women ran for the board that year, and another three ran for city council. Bellows served twice as president of the Woman's City Club.  In 1918 she became a member of the City Housing Association, and later served on the Board of Freeholders.
