Jennie Favour was one of the first women elected to the School Board of Winnetka, Trier Township, Cook County, Illinois in 1892. She served on the Board until the mid 1890s and by 1896 was the Clerk.

Jennie Favour was elected to the School Board in Winnetka, Trier Township, Cook County, Illinois 1892.  She was one of the first two woman elected to the position.  By 1896 Favour was the Clerk of the School Board.
