Bettie Cheatam Muncaster was elected County Superintendent of Schools for Henderson County, Kentucky in 1905. She served for one term. In her first report to the State Superntendent of Public Instruction Muncaster was forthright in her demands for more public support for school both from taxpayers and the legislature.
