Isabella Spurlock
Isabella Spurlock was the Prohibition Party candidate for University Regent in Nebraska in 1897.  Spurlock was an activist Methodist, serving in the Woman's Home Missionary society.  Spurlock worked as an assistant superintendent in a Methodist home for children, Mother's Jewel's Home in York, Nebraska.  Her husband, Burwell Spurlock, was the superintendent of the home.
