Minnie Arnold was elected to the school board from Chenoa, Illinois in 1892. 120 women voted in the election to the school board in Chenoa in 1892, electing Miss Arnold. This was the second time women were allowed to vote, having elected Mrs Jane Martin to the board the previous year, such that there were then two women on the board.
